Music was on to shorter loop, a Spotify paid for account could help with this since you can cancel after the weekend. But as it was it was quite annoying.

The food vendor was very expensive with not many seats.

Amazing huge venue, price was about right for the size of event, the atmosphere was a bit flat. Not sure how you could fix this.

I took my family of 5 to our 2nd Comic-con and it's the 1st time the kids dressed up in costume. We also have Aspie traits so we went cautiously...Very soon we found out that our kids were fine on their own and I felt they were safe with EVERYONE! It all felt like one big family, even the sellers were brilliant. The only thing I would complain about would be the judging for the competitions...Chosen by one adult and a child is not enough...They should at least have separate categories for bought and home-made costumes. Some people had put in so much effort (Dark Angel and his GF in her brilliant costume from The Dark Crystal) to be beaten by a cute kid in a bought costume... There were so many brilliant creations and these fans should be encouraged. We also loved Comic-con's anti-bullying stance...that made us more relaxed for the whole weekend and we WILL be back next year...*get's the sewing box out again* :D

Great, friendly, helpful staff, groups and stars. A good range of stalls and photo opportunities. We can't wait for the next one and recommend the event to others ;)

This was the first time I have booked for the whole weekend at the Comic-Con and I had very distinct experiences on both days. On the Saturday the event for me was far too over crowded and when it came to getting lunch there was on extremely limited provision for seating. Meaning that my family and I had to eat standing up whilst be knocked and pushed. The people were not particularly friendly at times and the stars were very pushy about their merchandise. There was very little room to manoeuvre and it made me and my young niece and nephew feel very panicky. Perhaps by opening upstairs for a seating and chill out area this would have helped. My nephew did however enjoy the lightsaber school.

The Sunday was a far more relaxed event, fewer people, though a lot more in cosplay costumes. The people were a lot more approachable and friendly and my family enjoyed themselves. It was great to see two working daleks and the cosplay heroes who were raising money for charity were great and you could actually get to speak to them this time. I spent no money on Saturday other than food but on Sunday I could see things and speak with stall holders who were more relaxed and I spent my money.

One thing that is very noteworthy is that hotdogs and burgers were extortionately priced at £7.50 each. Chips were a better buy

I attended with my 13 year old and was very impressed with the hard work that had gone into the event. We thought it was pitched just right and there was a lot to appeal to all ages and fan groups.
My child's only negative comment was that the autographs and photographs with celebrities was way too expensive for child's budget ( and some adults possibly).
Otherwise great job and hopefully be there for the next one!

I found it a the venue bit small for money paid. I found I was able to do everything in one day despite having a weekend ticket. I also did not see much point in the advance tickets as you only got in early, next time as maybe have it so they could get one autograph as most people came for multiple. Also some of the panels were full so maybe more seating areas particularly for the larger panels.

Great value for price, much better layout than Cleethorpes with much more room to move or take a time out (when it gets a little too much). Very happy to see more celebrities and panels. Would like to see a bigger variety of stalls though, too many Funko Pop sellers, would prefer to see more original art and craft work, a wider range of collectables and more for gamers and anime fans. Space is a premium at these events, could the organisers please limit vendors based on whether they will be duplicating other vendors stock? Sure there will be plenty of unique vendors out there dying for a spot.

Apart from some stalls and getting things signed by the special guests there was nothing really to do. I would have enjoyed the talks more if they were in a separate area since the noise from the main hall made it really hard to hear what was being said. I'll probably go back next year to see if they can come up with new features since its a very new convention but wasn't worth the £12 to get in as it was.

Great day, the venue was excellent, the goodie bag for prebooked tickets was a nice touch, there was a great selection o stall holders which was nice, or us the chance to go straight to a guest for a signing was brilliant, no queues :) it was all very relaxed and no rushing unlike bigger cons, hope to see this go from strength to strength and get even bigger with even more guests and talks, autograph and photo shoots were at a great price, staff were friendly, Cosplayers looked great and made the day even more special. 10/10

In a nutshell - disappointing all-round. At £13.70ea for the Sunday, it was a rip-off! The pathetic goody-bag on entry, obviously in order to help justify the high ticket price, was unwanted, it contained valueless crap. There were far too few stalls and those that were there sold the same stuff (yes, I know it's a Comic-Con, so what do I expect). Also, on the Sunday, alot of merchandise had sold-out, leaving little choice and empty spaces on stalls. You NEED TO lower the ticket prices (especially on the Sunday - this is Lincoln, not London!) and have bigger, better (more variety of stock - not a single 'DOOM' item or 'Killzone' item) and more merchandise stands. On arriving at 10.00, I'd finished walking around in half-an-hour, that's £13.70 for thirty minutes (I managed to string it out, just meandering around, for another hour, but still, it was really poor, I bought nothing. The public who attended dressed-up in costumes are to be commended. It really was A WASTE OF MONEY! Oh, and one more thing, the marketing was terrible. I only found out about the event by chance, driving past the showground the Tuesday before the event. So, it was that small and insignificant you couldn't bother to advertise it sufficiently. DO IT RIGHT OR DON'T BOTHER. And we need to know which 'celebrities' are going to be appearing at which times and on which days. I want my money back!! If this was better than last year I'm glad I didn't go last year.

Ticket prices shouldn't have been so high as photographs and autographs were extra. Or include a free signing/photo in with the ticket prices. Otherwise the event was awesome.

Very good convention but needs music playing as there was non or it was not noticeable. Also I don't understand why you have to wait till 11 am to get tickets on the door on the day, when some other conventions you can get tickets from 9am or 10am entrance on the door not 11am

Great event, wrong location food and drink way over priced, and selfies over priced too.. Autographs should be included in price not extra charge.. Over all everyone very nice and traders very helpful... Needs some tweaking to be better
