It was a great atmosphere my only criticism is that it was not diverse enough a lot of the stalls sold the same or similar items it would have been nice to have something different and I preferred it when it was 2 days

Review of Geekabilia: Lincoln 2017
This was the first comic con I have been to so I don't really have much to compare it to! I took my 6 year old son and husband and we all enjoyed it. Lots of merchandise stalls and a few 'celebs' selling autographs. Loads of people dressed up as their favourite characters . As a non convention person I would describe it as a Christmas fair where the theme is sci-fi not Christmas .
The food was not very good and way overpriced. Think school canteen. If it was on again I would suggest they invited some outside caterers to do different types of food.

It was the first time we have been to an event like this. It was really enjoyable seeing people dressing up as their favourite characters..
There were loads pf photo opportunities with different props and vehicles.overall it was a lovely way to spend 3 hours on a Saturday.

had a great day, easy accessible clean facilities, food a bit limited and could work out expensive, advise take good supply of snacks, parking free and plenty of space, certainly would go again

Absolutely loved the Geeks Lincoln Comic con, Great guests who were very friendly and approachable, fantastic q and a sessions, just the right amount of stalls and sellers, Such a friendly and great atmosphere, staff were helpful to, my only minor gripe was that I didn't bring enough money with me so next time would it be possible for an ATM cashpoint to be installed to withdraw money? other then that it was completely fantastic!

Laid out well, some stalls were very tacky. Needed more seating areas for those that wanted to sit with a coffee. No staff on the door....we could of walked in and out without paying at least five times.

Review of GEEKS Lincoln Comic-Con
Our first Comic-Con and my 13yo son and I really enjoyed it. We purchased weekend passes and were really impressed with the free goody bag upon arrival.
One criticism is that too much of the Saturday schedule was duplicated on the Sunday. Knowing this now we may only book for 1 day next time unless the programme is made a bit more varied.

Very disappointed in the whole day (Sunday). Food very expensive - £7.40 for a hot dog was a joke and 1 rasher of bacon in the bun a joke. Only 4 stands to look at and two basic inflatables. One Q&A session and no other presentations ment we left after four hours having spent close on £100 to go shopping. Waste of time and money.
